POWER OF PEACE RECOGNIZED BY WOMEN IN MEDIA

NEW YORK - April 30, 2008: The Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) acknowledged the importance of the mission of Power of Peace citing its dedication to galvanizing, empowering and giving voice to millions of people across the world in a universal quest to drive global change.

Through a new media paradigm dubbed Social Interactivism, Power of Peace unifies the world of activism and provides a singular digital destination where citizens everywhere who are passionately interested in social issues such as human rights, the environment and more can connect to each other and take action.

Power of Peace founder and CEO Sheryl Daija accepted AWNY's Paradigm Shift Award at a ceremony at the New York Hilton on April 30.
