Great men's necklace. The thread is handmade by twisting thread around a cotton string. The are three different designs: a peace sign, a brick, an OHM sign.

A group of brave and talented women artisans in the Himalayan mountainous region of India create our beautiful, sustainable jewelry line. These women are victims of child marriage, and are now living in the Short Stay Home ran by the cooperative, earning a living by making jewelry and other ornaments. At the same time, they are learning how to weave, cut, tailor, and other various artisan skills. All of their work reflects their perseverance, talent and ethnic art of the region.

The cooperative helps women become independent after being victims of child marriage. Some of the artisans even have a full-time job outside of their shelter and are able to make the jewelry in their spare time. By supporting our artisans through fair trade, you are helping this group of women become independent, self-sufficient and live a life they deserve.
