Cambodia: Khmer Rouge Trial is Justice Delayed

Legacy of Mass Murder, Impunity Still Echoes Thirty Years On (New York) - The four Khmer Rouge leaders who go on trial on June 27, 2011, should have been brought to justice decades ago, Human Rights Watch said today. A Victory for Domestic Workers

Domestic workers -- nannies, housekeepers, and caregivers -- are some of the most exploited workers in the world. But a new international treaty has been adopted to help protect them, thanks in part to 10 years of Human Rights Watch research and advocacy. The treaty is the first of its kind. I am profoundly humbled by his capacity to forgive and deeply motivated by his spirit and strength.
